Frequently Asked Questions

Our crew is happy to provide you with travel tips to ensure that your stay on board ReAction will be most enjoyable.

What to bring?

Most sailors coming to the islands bring many more clothes than they need. Hard luggage and some types of luggage with wheels are difficult to stow onboard, duffel bags work best.

Storage in the staterooms is found in two very large drawers under the beds, additional shelves and a hanging locker.

Clothing. Just a couple of bathing suits, shorts, a few casual shirts, blouses or T-shirts, flip-flops, hat, and sunglasses. If you are planning a night out for dinner at an upscale resort, long pants and a collared shirt for men, a cocktail dress 'casually elegant' for the women. Only a couple of places require a jacket and tie for men.

Valid passports for every member of your party.

Sun Screen. Start with a high SPF; work your way down as the week goes on.

Camera. With lots of film. Digital cameras; bring your AV interface cord so that we can view your photos on our TV. Some people bring disposable underwater cameras, which can be fun.

Snorkel Gear We have plenty of masks, fins snorkels onboard, however, if you have your own you may want to bring it so you can be sure of a good fit.

Personal medications and prescriptions. Most guests have NO Problem at all with seasickness, however if you do tend to get queasy on boats, it may be worth bringing your usual medication for peace of mind.
